So I know that some people are not going to like what I have to say but that is just too bad because it is the truth! There are big changes said to be taking place in the next movie from the Twilight novel series, changes that will either make or break the popularity of not only the movie and cast but Stephenie Meyer the author of the novels.
Robert Pattison/Edward Cullen
Possible changes to be made:
- Robert Pattison is said to get more time in the movie, this is a terrible idea because it will take away from the whole point of the second book! Edward (Rob’s character) leaves Bella (the lead character) in fear for her life, she spends a bunch of time with Jacob Black (her best friend really), he falls in love with her, while Bella is trying to get over the love of her life through the whole book (its a rough book), and in the end Edward comes back. So giving Robert more time in the movie would just make Twerds really angry!
- Jacob Black is currently played by Taylor Lautner who is only 16 and he did a wonderful job in Twilight but I really don’t think that he is old enough, nor does he look old enough to play the older more mature Jacob in the next three movies! My fellow Twerds need to be logical when it comes to this because really think about how fast Jacob grows in book two, Taylor Lautner is just too young to do it! Also I do not agree with the possible replacement choice either. Michael Copon is one of many choices lined up to take Taylor’s place, they look a lot alike but I just don’t know about it, I think that Jacob gets well sexy as he matures and I don’t think this Michael is as good looking as our little Taylor. I really think that Steven Strait would make an awesome older, sexier, more mature Jacob Black and that could just be cause that’s who I think of when I read the book but oh well.
Taylor Lautner/Jacob Black
- I just read in this magazine (I buy anything with Twilight news in it) and there is also talk of Ben Barnes, who played Prince Caspian in the Narnia sequel, wanting to play Aro in the next movie, and I think he would be perfect for the role. He is good looking but could be scary, serious, and dangerous too.

are they serious? they’re giving rob more time in the movie? i mean that’s the whole point of new moon, edward leaving, bella getting depressed and jacob getting closer to her. that’s the stupidest idea i’ve ever heard. so what, like bella’s gonna be depressed for what, about like five minutes in the movie? i agree, it’s the whole essence of the book, it’s all about bella and jacob in new moon.
although it’s not really my favorite book in the whole series, we all have to go all through this stuff since it’s the key to getting the story to the next installment. i hope that new moon does better than twilight.
i agree but they are not using taylor lautner in the rest of the movies cause he is not how the author described him in her books. yeah i think it is about jacob and bella they should make the movie like 3 hours so edwards there for 30 minutes in the movie then he leaves then jacob comes for 1 hour 30min
and then Edward will have an hour to get saved from the volturi in italy and stuff and come back to forks!

I agree with “TEAMEDWARD” when it comes to the timing of the movie…I love me a lot of Jacob so the longer he is in the movie the better! “kimchippy” your so right giving him “extra” screen time is defeating the essence of the book but that is the rumor on the web, and TV!
